Masa made with Maseca®
2 Cups MASECA® corn masa flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 Cups water
Step 1 :
Divide and roll masa into 16 equal-sized balls.
Step 2 :
Place each ball between two plastic sheets and press into small disks using a tortilla press.
Step 3 :
Pre-heat a skillet and cook tortillas on each side for about a minute or until the tortilla puffs up.
Step 4 :
Time to enjoy! There is nothing better than a warm, homemade tortilla.
If you don't have a tortilla press available, you can use a rolling pin instead.
To avoid sticking when using the tortilla press, place each masa ball between two plastic sheets.
